Microsoft Database file viewer

MDB Viewer is a free utility program for PC devices developed by Aryson Technologies. It is a tool that helps users view Microsoft Access Database (MDB) files, particularly, those that have been corrupted or damaged, and deemed unviewable with the official Microsoft Access desktop application.

Serving as an alternative or complementary tool of sorts to the Microsoft Access program, MDB Viewer is a program that users can consider if they are having problems opening database files. It also offers an optional upgrade purchase that will allow them to repair and recover data contained within said files.

Open corrupted MDB files

Data management is crucial to any large business or organization. A database can take all that information and consolidate it for easier access or modification, and one popular solution is Microsoft Access. This tool and its corresponding MDB files are a preferred choice for many. However, these files can get damaged or corrupted and this is where the MDB Viewer tool comes in to help.

With this utility, you will be able to open and view corrupted or damaged files with the MDB or the newer ACCDB extension. Upon adding, it will automatically scan for any data it can read and recover, and present it in the folder view. Explore it using the navigation pane at the left, check each folder individually to find the specific information you're looking for.

Once you find the specific information you're looking for, you can then export and save it to your PC. You can also opt for the aforementioned optional upgrade to repair files, so they can be opened and viewed by others, as well. Now, just know there are still limitations to what this program can do depending on the severity of the corruption or damage in question.

When files get damaged

If you happen to find yourself in a situation where your database files get damaged or corrupted, MDB Viewer is one tool you can look at to possibly gain access back to the information you need. It's easy to use, supports both MDB and ACCDB files, and lets you easily export data to your PC. There's even the optional upgrade path to help with repairs. Recommended.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
